Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer position is designed to support WHO WPRO's regional immunization messaging campaign from 14 September to 22 October 202

• Volunteers will play a crucial role in raising awareness about the importance of immunization and encouraging informed discussions within their communities and online networks. This role involves sharing evidence-based immunization messages provided by WHO, creating original content, and participating in virtual learning sessions. Volunteers will be equipped with a communications toolkit to aid in their efforts and will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as Group Coordinators, should they choose to do so. The campaign aims to highlight WHO's immunization priorities through 2030, including the elimination of measles and rubella, reducing the number of zero-dose children, and promoting equitable access to vaccines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Share 1-2 posts per week on personal social media platforms, utilizing various formats such as images, videos, and text to highlight immunization messages.
• Participate in a mandatory virtual orientation session in early September to understand WHO's immunization priorities and campaign objectives.
• Attend two virtual learning sessions throughout the campaign, focusing on topics like immunization, vaccine confidence, and health communication.
• Foster respectful and constructive conversations on social media regarding immunization, ensuring accurate health information is promoted.
• Track and record engagement activities using monitoring forms provided by WHO and UNV, including links to public posts and audience reach.
• Optionally, serve as a Group Coordinator, supporting assigned groups by posting consistently, addressing questions, and ensuring accurate tracking of engagement metrics.
• Compile and submit a report at the end of the campaign if serving as a Group Coordinator.
