Job Overview:
The NW Refuge & Care Alliance Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Survivors of Torture (SOT) Program. This role involves supervising case management, providing guidance to the Comprehensive Case Worker, and managing data processes. The Program Supervisor will lead client eligibility assessments and ensure proper referrals and follow-ups. Additionally, they will provide resources to clients who do not qualify for comprehensive case management and facilitate training for internal and external staff. The ideal candidate will hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and possess at least three years of relevant clinical and social services experience, demonstrating a commitment to supporting vulnerable populations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Supervisor will support the delivery of the Survivors of Torture (SOT) Program services, which include comprehensive case management, behavioral health services, and referral services. Key responsibilities include supervising, training, and mentoring program staff and interns, leading client eligibility assessments, and ensuring timely referrals and follow-ups. The supervisor will directly support high-needs survivors through comprehensive case management services and coordinate these services across IRC teams and external partners. They will ensure that services are culturally and linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed, and promote client well-being and independence. The supervisor will maintain updated case files, monitor program data for compliance, and prepare reports for funders. They will also support staff training, strengthen partnerships with local medical providers and community organizations, and represent IRC at stakeholder meetings. Additional responsibilities include generating capacity-building products, managing financial records, and participating in program meetings and team initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an MSW degree and have at least three years of relevant clinical and social services experience. A commitment to anti-racism and continuous learning is essential. Applicants should demonstrate success in managing and coordinating a multicultural team and have experience working with refugees, immigrant populations, or other vulnerable groups. Experience in community health access, case management, health advocacy, community outreach, staff supervision, and partnership development is required. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory, along with professional proficiency in relevant languages spoken by local refugee and immigrant communities. Candidates should be highly organized, self-starters with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
Educational Background:
The position requires a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, which provides the necessary educational foundation for understanding clinical practices and social services relevant to the role.
Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant clinical and social services experience, particularly in roles that involve working with refugees, immigrants, or vulnerable populations. Experience in community health access, case management, and partnership development is also essential.
Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, both spoken and written. Additionally, professional proficiency in other relevant languages spoken by local refugee and immigrant communities is highly desirable and considered an asset.

The working environment is a standard professional office setting with a hybrid model that allows for both remote and in-office work. Flexibility in work hours may be required, including occasional weekend and evening work. The compensation for this position ranges from $81,000 to $82,500, depending on various factors such as labor market conditions, job type, internal equity, and budget considerations.
