Job Overview:
The Procurement Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement cycle, ensuring the acquisition of goods and services that contribute to high-quality programming aimed at assisting the poor and vulnerable populations. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Procurement Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: supporting requestors in preparing comprehensive Purchase Requisition Forms; maintaining the procurement plan and tracking tool to ensure timely communication of procurement needs; assisting the Procurement Officer in identifying and vetting reliable suppliers; visiting supplier sites to gather information and support due diligence; purchasing items in accordance with CRS procurement documents; preparing Payment Requests with accurate supporting documentation; and following up with requestors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring compliance with CRS procurement standards.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a High School diploma as a minimum requirement. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or administrative processes. Strong writing skills, knowledge of local market conditions, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) are essential. Candidates should demonstrate ethical conduct, a strong customer service orientation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in diverse teams and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset are also important.

Educational Background:
