The position of Auxiliar de Seguimiento / Monitor de Campo is crucial for the effective delivery of food assistance and non-food items in a designated coverage area. Educational Background:
Minimum educational qualification is the completion of secondary education. A higher education degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with additional certifications related to project management, humanitarian assistance, or monitoring and evaluation will be considered favorably.
Experience:
A minimum of four years of demonstrated work experience in similar activities is required. Experience in data analysis related to program outcomes and knowledge of WFP monitoring and evaluation systems and standards are highly desirable. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in humanitarian settings and familiarity with community engagement practices.
Languages:
Fluency in Spanish (Level C) is mandatory, and knowledge of English at a working level for reading WFP materials and policies is desirable. Proficiency in additional languages will be considered an asset, particularly in regions where WFP operates.

This position is based in San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic, and is expected to be a full-time role. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify planned movements and distribution of food or non-food items, promptly communicating any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor for resolution, ensuring that the quantity distributed and the quality of operations comply with WFP standards.
- Maintain records of information and documentation related to monitoring plans, including product movement records and program checklists, to contribute to effective delivery and distribution of food or non-food items.
- Collect data on assistance programs following well-defined guidelines to support program reviews and informed decision-making.
- Maintain contact with cooperating partners and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and observations in support of program review and service improvement efforts.
- Receive and compile feedback from cooperating partners and beneficiaries to help identify programmatic issues aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance to cooperating partners on operational practices and WFP monitoring tools and methods to assist them in completing self-monitoring tasks and contribute to WFP visibility in coverage areas.
- Prepare field mission reports to document program implementation.
- Follow established emergency intervention processes and procedures related to food assistance in emergencies.
- Perform any other job-related activities as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in designing, organizing, and evaluating social and community projects that promote citizen integration and participation, with a focus on disaster risk management and humanitarian action.
- Directly implement field activities that foster connections with the community and authorities.
- Ensure proper execution in accordance with financial guidelines.
- Promote safe spaces for the community and facilitate community mobilization considering protection elements and feedback mechanisms.
- Coordinate with public and private institutions to ensure the articulation of efforts.
- Implement monitoring and evaluation systems for projects, ensuring transparency in results and presenting periodic reports.
