Job Overview:
The position of Associate in Infrastructure for Human Mobility is specifically oriented to provide support for achieving the fourth result of the project document related to human mobility projects in which AMEXCID participates. The role involves collaborating in the review of infrastructure projects conducted in partnership with authorized entities, assisting in budget and expenditure reviews for proper financial control of infrastructure projects, accompanying supervision teams for architectural projects aimed at migrant populations, participating in meetings with contractors, local authorities, and receiving communities, and maintaining organized documentation of the agency's infrastructure projects to ensure accountability and prevent any observations during public account audits. This position is integral to the operational structure of AMEXCID's Executive Directorate or the designated general direction, responsible for authorizing, coordinating, and supervising programs, projects, and actions carried out by administrative units and decentralized administrative bodies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in areas of scientific, educational, technological, sports, economic, and business cooperation, as well as humanitarian assistance and international aid, in accordance with policies set by the Secretary and in line with the International Cooperation for Development Law, the National Development Plan, and the International Cooperation for Development Program.

Minimum Academic Requirements: A high school diploma (Bachillerato) is required. A university degree (Licenciatura) in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields is not mandatory but will be given due consideration. Minimum Years of Required Experience: For candidates with a high school diploma: 7 years of experience in public works or infrastructure projects. For candidates with a university degree: 4 years of experience in the aforementioned areas. Required Skills: Experience in supervision or budget control of public works. Experience in quality control of materials. Experience in dialogue with contractors, local authorities, and receiving communities. Desired Skills: Knowledge of construction regulations and/or public building standards. Experience in bidding processes, contracting, execution, and closure of public works.
