Experience:
Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in program coordination, project management, or a related field. Experience working with international organizations, particularly within the UN system, is highly valued. Previous mentoring or training experience is also beneficial, as it demonstrates the ability to guide and support interns effectively.
Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication in Burundi. Proficiency in English is also desirable, as it may be necessary for communication with international partners and stakeholders. Knowledge of Kirundi, the local language, would be an asset but is not required.
Additional Notes:
This position is part-time and may have a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the interns. The mentor will be expected to commit to a specific duration, which will be discussed during the hiring process.
