Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties include: - Guiding interns in understanding UNFPA's work in communication and social media; - Involving interns in the development and production of communication documents and materials; - Assisting in the writing of articles, newsletters, and informational bulletins; - Supporting the creation and scheduling of daily content (photos, videos, posters, etc.) for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the UNFPA website; - Encouraging innovation in communication and social media strategies; - Participating in the proofreading and linguistic correction (French/English as necessary) of produced documents; - Assisting in reporting activities and workshops; - Engaging interns in training and capacity-building activities; - Supporting the development of articles and production of communication documents; - Providing assistance in other areas of intervention as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the mentor position should possess a strong background in communication, writing, or related fields. They should demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have a good understanding of social media dynamics.
