Job Overview:
The position focuses on enhancing the analysis and usability of country-reported data related to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through the WHO TrACSS platform. Candidates should possess a background in public health, microbiology, epidemiology, veterinary science, engineering, nursing, medicine, or related fields. Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools are essential. Familiarity with data visualization techniques and reporting is also required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate findings effectively.
Educational Background:
A degree in public health, epidemiology, microbiology, or a related field is preferred. Advanced degrees or certifications in data analysis or public health are advantageous and may enhance a candidate's suitability for the role.
Experience:
Candidates should have prior experience in data analysis, particularly in the context of public health or related fields. Experience working with health data systems or in a research environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with data extraction and cleaning processes is essential, as well as the ability to generate analytical outputs and reports.
Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, as all documentation and communication will be conducted in this language. Knowledge of Arabic or French would be considered an asset, as it may facilitate communication with regional stakeholders and enhance collaboration.

- Clean and structure datasets for selected indicators to ensure accuracy and usability.

- Compare current data with previous years for the same variables to identify changes and patterns.
- Create a data dashboard to visualize the findings and facilitate understanding.
- Document the workflow of the analysis process for capacity building and future reference.
