Job Overview:
The HR Generalist role is pivotal in providing high-quality transactional and operational support across key Global People Resources functions. This includes recruitment, compensation administration, and global mobility requests and processes. The HR Generalist is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate execution of HR programs, policies, and procedures while delivering responsive customer service to staff, managers, and HR partners across the agency. The position contributes to an effective employee experience by coordinating recruitment activities, supporting compensation-related processes, facilitating global mobility requests, maintaining HR records, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and procedures. The HR Generalist will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance the overall HR function and support the agency's mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: coordinating and supporting recruitment activities such as job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and recruitment tracking; preparing recruitment documentation and ensuring required approvals and records are completed and maintained; providing administrative and process support throughout the recruitment lifecycle; facilitating pre-employment activities, including candidate documentation and onboarding coordination; processing compensation-related transactions and requests in accordance with established policies and procedures; supporting annual and ad hoc compensation processes, including salary adjustments and market movement reviews; maintaining compensation records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance; coordinating and processing employee global mobility requests, including international assignments and transfers; maintaining employee records and HR system data, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality; providing timely responses to employee and manager inquiries; assisting with audits, compliance reviews, and data quality initiatives; and supporting HR projects, process improvements, and special initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible HR experience is required, with experience supporting recruitment, compensation, HR operations, or global mobility processes. Candidates should have experience working with HR information systems and applicant tracking systems, as well as a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding HR principles and practices, which are critical for the HR Generalist role.

Experience:
The HR Generalist position requires a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible HR experience. This experience should include supporting recruitment, compensation, HR operations, or global mobility processes. Candidates with experience in international HR programs within a global organization will be preferred, as well as those who have worked with Oracle Cloud HCM or similar HR systems. Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and service delivery functions is also advantageous.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory for this position. Additionally, proficiency in French or Spanish is considered an asset, as it may enhance communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.

The HR Generalist position is a full-time role that may require travel up to 10%.
