Job Overview:
The Cleaner position at DRC is essential for maintaining a hygienic and welcoming environment within the organization's premises, including offices and Guest Houses (GHs). The Cleaner will report directly to the Base Manager and will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in all designated areas. This role is crucial in creating a positive atmosphere for both staff and visitors, contributing to the overall mission of DRC to provide a safe and supportive environment for those affected by displacement. The Cleaner will engage in various cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and presentable. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cleaner will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: daily wet cleaning of office common areas such as corridors, kitchens, bathrooms, and conference halls; performing daily dry cleaning and disinfection of surfaces in common areas; polishing surfaces and furniture to maintain a neat appearance; ensuring the cleanliness of glass, mirror, and ceramic surfaces; washing kitchen appliances and accessories as needed; monitoring the availability of office consumables like liquid soap, toilet paper, and detergents; daily garbage collection and replacement of garbage bags; conducting seasonal window cleaning twice a year or as needed; performing general cleaning four times a year; cleaning switches, plinths, and accessories from dust; caring for plants in the office, apartments, and GHs; and wet cleaning of guesthouse apartments, which includes floor cleaning, polishing surfaces and furniture, ensuring cleanliness of sanitaryware, washing kitchen utensils, and bed linen, as well as garbage collection and seasonal window cleaning. The Cleaner is expected to create an atmosphere of cleanliness and friendliness, contributing positively to the work environment.

- Compensation for the position will be in accordance with the Danish Refugee Council's Terms of Employment for National Staff, with a starting salary of EUR 625 gross per month, which may vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
