They will support the development of project goals, objectives, activities, and sustainability plans, as well as realistic project budgets. Additionally, the volunteer will create professional communication materials, including project summaries and visual graphics, to effectively communicate the project's impact and sustainability model. Regular tracking of funding calls and providing updates to PFU will also be part of the responsibilities, along with reviewing and editing existing materials to enhance clarity and professionalism.
Required Qualifications:

Candidates with experience in proposal writing, grant management, or fundraising will be particularly well-suited for this role. A degree or relevant coursework in these areas will enhance the candidate's qualifications for the position.
Experience:
While specific years of experience may not be required, candidates should have some familiarity with the non-profit sector, particularly in areas related to education, child welfare, or community development. Experience in proposal writing or resource mobilization will be beneficial, as will any previous volunteer work or internships in similar organizations.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as all communication and documentation will be conducted in English. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Northern Uganda may be advantageous but is not required.

This is a volunteer position, and the duration of the assignment may vary based on the needs of Purewish Foundation Uganda. The role is expected to be part-time, allowing flexibility for the volunteer.
