Duties and Responsibilities:
The Partnerships Senior Officer will be responsible for several key functions: 1) Supporting new business development and prospecting by conducting prospect mapping to identify collaboration opportunities, maintaining a robust business pipeline, and coordinating outreach efforts to potential partners. 2) Assisting in proposal development and resource mobilization by drafting concept notes, project proposals, and donor reports, ensuring alignment with UN Global Pulse priorities. 3) Engaging in ecosystem engagement and events management by identifying strategic visibility opportunities, designing donor-facing events, and representing UN Global Pulse at external meetings. 4) Contributing to internal coordination and communication by fostering relationships across teams, sharing insights, and promoting a collaborative fundraising culture. The role is integral to enhancing UN Global Pulse's credibility and expanding its network within the donor and innovation communities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in fields such as International Relations, Business Administration, Public Policy, Communications, or Innovation Management, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) with 4 years of relevant experience is acceptable. The role requires a strong understanding of partnerships, donor relations, and business development, as well as experience in events management and budget oversight.

Educational Background:
The educational requirements for this position include either an advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in relevant fields such as International Relations, Business Administration, Public Policy, Communications, or Innovation Management, or a first-level university degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) with additional years of relevant experience. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of partnership development and donor engagement.

Experience:
The position requires relevant experience in partnerships, donor relations, or business development, with a strong emphasis on events management and the ability to plan and execute high-profile events.
