Job Overview:
The EFL Curriculum Developer position is integral to the Ann Foundation's literacy project, which aims to provide online English classes for children and youth. • The curriculum development process is designed to empower students by equipping them with essential language skills, enhancing their confidence, and motivating them to pursue their educational and career aspirations. The project spans 12 weeks, during which the developer will work collaboratively with a small team to adapt existing materials for a new audience, ensuring that the content is engaging, culturally inclusive, and suitable for online learning environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the EFL Curriculum Developer include reviewing and adapting 5 pages of the existing Young Learner curriculum each week, resulting in a total of 50 pages by the end of the project. The developer will ensure that the revised curriculum aligns with CEFR learning outcomes and includes updated curriculum components such as scope and sequence, learning outcomes, age-appropriate themes and activities, standardized lesson templates, assessment strategies, and tutor guidance. Additionally, the developer will be responsible for ensuring that all content is relevant to adolescent learners and suitable for low-resource environments. Success will be measured by the completion of all planned curriculum components, internal quality reviews, and stakeholder approval for pilot implementation.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong curriculum development skills, particularly in the context of language education. A deep understanding of the CEFR framework and experience in adapting educational materials for different age groups is essential. The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and communicate effectively with stakeholders is also crucial. Familiarity with online teaching methodologies and low-resource learning environments will be advantageous.

Educational Background:
A degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field is required. Additional qualifications in curriculum development or language teaching would be beneficial. Candidates with certifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) or similar credentials will be preferred.

Experience:
The position requires prior experience in curriculum development, particularly for language education. Experience working with teenage learners and familiarity with online teaching practices are highly desirable. Languages:
