Job Overview:
The Marketing/Fundraising Officer at WWF-Armenia plays a crucial role in developing and managing fundraising initiatives that support the organization's mission. This position involves creating and optimizing digital fundraising campaigns, enhancing donor engagement, and contributing to proposal and grant development. The officer will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of fundraising activities. The role requires a strategic approach to digital fundraising, focusing on maximizing income and donor retention through innovative campaigns and community engagement. The officer will also be responsible for maintaining donor relationships and ensuring a seamless donor experience throughout their journey with WWF-Armenia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, public relations, communications, humanities, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in public fundraising, marketing, communications, or project management is required, with a focus on digital and donor-facing fundraising. Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Armenian are essential. Demonstrated experience in fundraising, proposal support, or high-value sales/partnerships is advantageous, as is experience in an international organization. Candidates should also have excellent content writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and in-depth knowledge of digital fundraising platforms and advertising tools.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing, management, public relations, communications, or humanities is required for this position. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding the principles of fundraising, marketing strategies, and effective communication techniques that are essential for the role.
Experience:
The position requires at least 2 years of professional experience in areas related to public fundraising, marketing, communications, or project management. Candidates should have exposure to digital fundraising and donor engagement strategies, demonstrating a successful track record in these areas. Experience in an international organization is considered an advantage, as it indicates familiarity with global fundraising practices and collaboration across diverse teams.
Languages:
Proficiency in both English and Armenian is mandatory for this position, as strong communication skills in these languages are essential for engaging with donors and stakeholders. Additional language skills may be considered beneficial but are not required.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy and action plan to enhance donor engagement and optimize fundraising activities.
- Design, manage, and evaluate cost-effective digital campaigns aimed at expanding donor relationships and increasing contributions.
- Coordinate digital touchpoints with offline fundraising efforts to provide a cohesive donor experience.
- Create and execute promotional strategies to drive donations through various digital channels, including social media and email.
- Maintain and update donor information in the database, ensuring accuracy and supporting data hygiene.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with online donors, promoting regular giving and supporting community-building efforts.
- Organize and manage the annual calendar for online communications and fundraising initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in drafting concept notes and grant proposals, supporting corporate partnership development, and coordinating donor communication efforts.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to fundraising activities and coordinate remedies for any issues that arise.
