Job Overview:
The UNV Graphic Design position is crucial for WOUGNET as it seeks to enhance its visibility and institutional strength through a professional strategic plan. The role involves collaborating with the Communications/Programs Team to create a visually appealing and well-structured strategic plan that aligns with WOUGNET's mission and vision. The volunteer will be responsible for reviewing the existing strategic plan, designing a new layout that is both aesthetic and functional, and ensuring that the final product is suitable for distribution among partners and stakeholders. Required Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with relevant certifications or extensive experience in graphic design may also be considered. A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work is essential to demonstrate capability and style.
Experience:
Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on creating strategic documents, reports, or similar materials. Experience working with non-profit organizations or in the field of gender equality and digital inclusion is highly desirable. Familiarity with the challenges faced by women in accessing technology and information is a plus.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as all communications and documentation will be in English. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Uganda may be beneficial but is not required.

This is a remote volunteer position, allowing for flexibility in work hours.
