Job Overview:
The Enumerator position is a critical role within Relief International, directly supervised by the MEAL Officer. The primary responsibility of the Enumerator is to conduct data collection with beneficiaries residing in Istanbul, Hatay, and Gaziantep. This role is essential for executing Post Distribution/Post-Service Monitoring (PDM/PSM) to evaluate the quality and impact of services provided to beneficiaries who have received assistance or assistive devices. The Enumerator will be trained on the Logalto Collect mobile data collection platform and the associated questionnaire prior to commencing their duties. The Enumerator will primarily conduct phone interviews with beneficiaries identified in a sample prepared by RI, ensuring accurate and timely data collection to inform program effectiveness and improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Enumerator will be responsible for a variety of key tasks, including: conducting interviews with refugees and the host community using follow-up surveys developed by RI; performing interviews via phone calls from the RI office; accurately recording and submitting data on the Logalto platform on a daily basis; sharing daily reports on the progress of the evaluation; and conducting focus group discussions (FGDs) as needed. These responsibilities are crucial for gathering insights and feedback from beneficiaries, which will help RI assess the effectiveness of its programs and make necessary adjustments to better serve the community.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess fluency in both Arabic and Turkish, both written and spoken, with a working knowledge of English considered an asset. A diploma in social science or a related field is preferred. Experience in conducting surveys, customer service, and mobile data collection is advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, high professionalism, and courtesy. A good understanding of local issues, community priorities, and social and cultural realities is essential. Familiarity with the targeted districts and locations is also required. Additionally, Turkish nationality is mandatory, and female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Educational Background:
The position requires a diploma in social science or a related field, which provides a foundational understanding of the social dynamics and issues relevant to the communities served by Relief International. Experience:

Fluency in Arabic and Turkish is mandatory for this position, as these languages are essential for effective communication with beneficiaries. A working knowledge of English is considered an asset, as it may facilitate communication within the organization and with international stakeholders.
