Job Overview:
The HR and Admin Team Leader position is crucial for overseeing the human resources functions within the NRC's operations in West and Central Darfur. The Team Leader will be responsible for workforce planning, recruitment, staff induction, and development, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and in accordance with NRC standards. Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR and Admin Team Leader will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: managing the performance of directly reporting staff, setting clear goals aligned with the country strategy, and supporting staff in achieving these goals. The Team Leader will oversee key HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and staff development, ensuring compliance with NRC policies and national laws. They will provide technical support and capacity building for staff, monitor team activities, and implement complex systems and procedures in line with NRC policies. Additionally, the Team Leader will advise line managers on HR policies, manage national staff recruitment, ensure timely updates of HR tools, and maintain accurate data management for staff in the region. They will also be responsible for disseminating HR information, completing HR inductions, managing payroll, and ensuring health and safety standards are met in the workplace. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to promote a culture of data protection and compliance with NRC's standards.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Business Management. A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar HR role within humanitarian organizations is required. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, is essential. Candidates should have extensive experience working with HR online systems and demonstrate excellent writing and reporting skills. Proven experience in interviewing at all levels is also necessary, along with a strong understanding of HR practices in complex and volatile contexts.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field. This educational foundation is critical for understanding the complexities of HR management within a humanitarian context and for effectively implementing HR strategies that support the organization's mission.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in a similar HR role, particularly within humanitarian organizations. Candidates should have a track record of working in complex and volatile environments, demonstrating the ability to adapt HR practices to meet the unique challenges faced in such contexts. Experience in managing HR functions, recruitment processes, and staff development initiatives is essential for success in this role.

Languages:
Fluency in both English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in these languages is crucial for effective communication with staff, stakeholders, and beneficiaries, ensuring that HR policies and procedures are understood and implemented correctly. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not required.
