Job Overview:
The Partnerships and Reporting Associate position is situated within the Partnerships, Communication, and Advocacy Unit of WFP Tanzania. This role is pivotal in mobilizing resources, strengthening partnerships, and leading advocacy efforts while coordinating reporting and communication activities to meet both corporate and donor requirements. The job holder will play a dual role, focusing on Operational Information Management and Performance Reporting, as well as Partnerships and Donor Engagement. The position requires the development and presentation of a clear, accurate, and consistent overview of WFP’s program portfolio and results, which is essential for informed decision-making. Additionally, the role supports the effective positioning of WFP with various partners through high-quality reporting and engagement, contributing to resource mobilization and strategic partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Reporting & Information Management: The incumbent will lead the preparation and drafting of high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual donor and corporate reports, ensuring compliance with WFP standards and contractual obligations. They will support the preparation of the Annual Country Report (ACR) and other corporate reporting exercises by coordinating inputs across various units. Responsibilities also include collecting, consolidating, and analyzing program data to ensure accuracy and coherence of performance information, developing and maintaining information management tools, and contributing to the production of dashboards and data visualizations. B. Partnerships & Donor Relations: The role involves preparing high-quality briefs, presentations, and speeches for senior management engagements with donors and partners, ensuring compliance with donor visibility requirements. The associate will assist in partner mapping, tracking funding opportunities, and drafting concept notes and proposals. They will also support engagement with public, private, and multilateral partners, coordinate meetings, and gather partner intelligence to inform strategic engagement. The position requires ensuring the integration of cross-cutting priorities in reporting and partnership outputs and performing other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate general knowledge of information management best practices and tools, with an understanding of their application in humanitarian or development contexts. A basic understanding of government and partner priorities is essential, along with experience in supporting multi-stakeholder partnerships. The ideal candidate should have experience in identifying partnership opportunities and contributing to collaboration frameworks, as well as data analysis and the use of digital tools for reporting and partnerships. Proven ability to develop external communications materials and reports is also required.

Educational Background:
An advanced university degree in Political Science, International Development, Development Economics, International Relations, Law, Marketing, Communications, Information Management, or a related field is required. Alternatively, a first university degree with additional years of relevant experience and/or training may be accepted.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of relevant professional work experience in partnership, program policy, or reporting and information management roles is required. Candidates should have a proven track record in similar positions, demonstrating their ability to handle the responsibilities outlined in the job description effectively.

Languages:
Fluency (level C) in the English language is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not explicitly required.
