Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Specialist I include establishing project-specific reporting frameworks to ensure consistent and donor-compliant supply chain and inventory reporting. The Specialist coordinates the consolidation, triangulation, and validation of data across partner submissions and financial records, identifying any inconsistencies or risks. They are responsible for preparing accurate project-level donor reports and coordinating follow-up actions with country teams to address any data quality issues. Furthermore, the Specialist supports project information management by promoting the effective use of management information systems (MIS) and contributes to the consistency and quality of project data. They ensure compliance with CRS policies and donor regulations, facilitate data preparation for audits, and monitor discrepancies in inventory. The Specialist also plays a role in capacity strengthening by facilitating communication among stakeholders and providing logistical support for project operations.
Required Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, data management, business administration, or a related field. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain data management, reporting, and supporting multi-country programs. Experience working with institutional donor requirements and reporting is also essential. Additionally, candidates should possess strong analytical skills, familiarity with data validation processes, and knowledge of inventory accounting and compliance standards.
Educational Background:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as supply chain, logistics, data management, or business administration. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of supply chain management and data analysis required for the role.
Experience:
The Specialist I position requires at least 4 years of relevant experience, particularly in supply chain data management and reporting. Experience in supporting large, complex, multi-country donor-funded projects is highly desirable, as is experience working with partners on data validation and reporting.
Languages:
English is a mandatory language for this position. Additionally, proficiency in French, Spanish, or Arabic is preferred, which would enhance communication with diverse stakeholders and partners involved in the project.
Additional Notes:
This is a remote position, and relocation assistance is not being offered. The role may require travel of up to 25% - 30%. The position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
