Job Overview: The Family Support Specialist position is a full-time, permanent role that involves working within a case management framework to provide support to individuals experiencing domestic, family, or sexual violence. The role is outreach-based and requires the specialist to work across regional and remote sites in northwest Queensland and the lower Gulf. The position is designed to create lasting change for children and their families by ensuring that the voices of children are heard and that their needs are prioritized. The specialist will work as part of the Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Service team, with flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, ideally full-time at 38 hours per week, but also open to casual or part-time candidates.
