The final designs will be utilized across all NYCOM online channels, in partner communications, and during the summit itself to enhance visibility and impact. The organization is seeking five online volunteers to manage key social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Each volunteer will be responsible for one platform, tasked with creating strategic content that showcases NYCOM's activities, expands outreach, and engages a global audience, particularly millennials. Volunteers will be expected to develop and execute a content calendar in collaboration with the Media and Publicity Committee, ensuring that the messaging is coherent and impactful across all platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities: The volunteers will have several key responsibilities, including:
Developing and executing a content calendar in collaboration with the Media and Publicity Committee.
Creating and posting engaging content that includes calls for participation (for delegates, exhibitors, speakers, and volunteers), promotional campaigns (such as speaker reveals, partner spotlights, and 'Why I Am Attending' testimonials), and countdown and behind-the-scenes content (including videos, photos, and stories).
Managing the summit's official hashtag and monitoring online conversations to ensure active engagement.
Collaborating with other volunteers to ensure coherent messaging across all platforms.
Providing weekly reports on engagement metrics, including reach, impressions, and feedback. Each volunteer is expected to produce 3-5 posts per week, utilizing information and raw materials (such as photos and key messages) provided by the committee.

Volunteers should possess creativity and the ability to engage audiences effectively. Familiarity with graphic design tools and social media analytics is preferred. Additionally, volunteers should be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Volunteers should have a proven track record of creating engaging content and understanding audience dynamics on various platforms. Previous experience in volunteer roles or youth-focused initiatives would be an advantage.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, as all communications and content will be in English. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Malawi would be considered a plus, as it may enhance engagement with diverse audiences.
Additional Notes: The position is voluntary, and the duration of the contract is not specified.
