Job Overview: The Administrative Management Services Focal Point is responsible for delivering efficient and cost-effective administrative support services. This role involves ensuring compliance with UNICEF's administrative policies and procedures, managing administrative operations, and providing guidance for the management of administrative staff. The incumbent will play a crucial role in budget management, property management, contract arrangements, and staff learning and development. Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with UNICEF's administrative policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in all office operations.
Manage the office's administrative operations, including budget management and property management.
Oversee contract arrangements and control, ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Facilitate staff learning and development initiatives to enhance the capabilities of administrative staff.
Coordinate partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to optimize administrative support services.
Provide guidance and support for operational coordination, ensuring efficient service management.
Monitor and track budget expenditures, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, business management, administration, finance, or a relevant field. A minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience in office management, administration, finance, accounting, ICT, human resources, or supply chain management is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong skills in administrative arrangements, service management, and operational coordination. Proficiency in organizational support is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in a relevant field such as social sciences, business management, administration, or finance is required for this position. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for effective administrative management and support within UNICEF's operational framework.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience, which should include both national and international exposure in areas such as office management, administration, finance, accounting, ICT, human resources, or supply chain management. Experience in supporting inter-agency operations and familiarity with humanitarian contexts is highly desirable, as it aligns with UNICEF's mission to respond effectively in crises and fragile settings.
Languages: Proficiency in English and French at a fluent level is mandatory for this position.
