Job Overview: The Program Assistant position at PSI is designed to support the operational excellence and execution of quality deliverables and standards within the organization. This role is integral to PSI’s Delivery team, which is characterized by its proactive and agile project management approach. The Program Assistant will provide a wide range of administrative and operational support, ensuring that the daily operations and project management of the assigned portfolio run smoothly. This position also involves liaising with global technical teams, service departments, and country project teams to address routine administrative needs and daily activities. Duties and Responsibilities: The Program Assistant will be responsible for providing routine administrative support for daily operations and project management of the assigned portfolio. Key responsibilities include assisting with basic financial management tasks such as team budget management, procurement, and payment processes for consultants, vendors, and subrecipients. The role also involves managing and reconciling purchasing cards. Additionally, the Program Assistant will support knowledge management activities by designing tools and systems for information tracking, creating and maintaining internal filing systems, managing online communication sites, and developing communication materials.
