Job Overview:
The Video Production and Publishing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the production, quality control, organization, and publication of educational video content created by Youth Development Correspondents across Africa. This position is designed to transform research and knowledge generated by correspondents into engaging and professionally presented video content. The coordinator will ensure that the videos inform young people about various youth development policies, institutions, programs, opportunities, and initiatives throughout the continent. The role involves managing the video production workflow, developing and maintaining submission and review procedures, and ensuring that the content meets quality and compliance standards. Additionally, the coordinator will assist contributors in enhancing their video storytelling and audience engagement techniques, ultimately contributing to the growth of a continent-wide educational video library.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Video Production and Publishing Coordinator include coordinating the video submission and review processes, reviewing videos for quality and compliance with publishing standards, supporting contributors with guidance on video preparation, maintaining video publishing schedules, and organizing videos by country, region, and subject area. The coordinator will also be responsible for managing YouTube publication and playlist organization, developing video descriptions, titles, tags, and metadata, monitoring publishing progress, and maintaining production records. Collaboration with content editors and correspondent coordinators is essential, as is recommending improvements to video production processes.
