Job Overview: The position of Program Quality and Management Support is crucial for advancing the work of Catholic Relief Services in Egypt and Yemen. The individual in this role will be responsible for providing comprehensive program quality and management support, ensuring that projects are designed and implemented effectively to meet the needs of the poor and vulnerable populations served by CRS. This includes overseeing all phases of project cycles, from design and start-up to implementation and close-out, while adhering to CRS program quality principles, donor requirements, and best practices. The role requires strong management skills to lead project teams, foster talent development, and maintain team dynamics. The successful candidate will also engage in proposal development, ensuring that submissions are of high quality and responsive to donor expectations. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Program Quality and Management Support position include managing and implementing project activities throughout the project cycle, ensuring compliance with CRS standards and donor requirements. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant field-based experience in coordinating or managing light to moderately complex projects is required, preferably with an international NGO. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field and experience in program development, program quality, strategic partnerships management, and MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning).
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in international development, international relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred and may enhance the candidate's qualifications for the role.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant field-based experience in project coordination or management. Candidates with experience in international NGOs or similar organizations will be given preference. The role demands a proven track record in managing projects of varying complexity and a strong understanding of program quality principles.
Languages: The successful candidate must have an excellent command of both English and Arabic. Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders in the region.
