Job Overview: The Fundraising Officer (Digital Growth) is a key role within UNICEF's Acquisition unit of Individual Giving, focusing on executing strategies to scale donor acquisition through digital innovation. The officer will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and paid advertising. By leveraging audience insights and campaign analytics, the incumbent will ensure that acquisition efforts are data-driven and responsive to evolving donor behaviors. The role requires collaboration with the marketing team to maximize ROI and support broader objectives of expanding reach, enhancing engagement, and driving sustainable revenue growth under the 2026–2030 strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities: The major responsibilities of the Fundraising Officer (Digital Growth) include:
Digital Campaign Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and coordinating digital marketing campaigns across channels such as social media, email, and search engines. Support cohesive and consistent campaign execution to promote brand awareness and donor engagement.
Digital Data Monitoring and Reporting: Collect and compile performance data for analysis and reporting. Provide insights and recommendations for campaign improvement based on performance metrics. Support basic conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing under guidance from senior staff.
Trend Awareness and Team Collaboration: Stay informed of digital marketing trends and share updates with the team. Collaborate with marketing, content, and product development teams to support campaign development. Monitor and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Ads. Assist in coordinating with vendors for timely delivery of campaign assets.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a first-level university degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Additional training in a related field is considered an asset. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of progressively responsible work experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of planning, executing, and optimizing successful multi-channel digital campaigns. Experience managing campaigns across multiple platforms using a data-driven, audience-first approach is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to analyze campaign performance, interpret metrics, and apply insights to improve results. Familiarity with CRM, analytics, and marketing automation tools is also required, along with knowledge of emerging digital trends and best practices in digital marketing.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a first-level university degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Additional training in a related field is an asset, enhancing the candidate's qualifications for the role.
Experience: A minimum of one year of progressively responsible work experience in digital marketing is required. Candidates should have a proven track record of planning, executing, and optimizing successful multi-channel digital campaigns. Familiarity with funnel-based marketing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is also necessary, along with experience in A/B testing and performance optimization for fundraising or sales campaigns.
Languages: Fluency in Thai and English is required, both written and spoken. A valid TOEIC score of at least 855 in the Listening and Reading sections is necessary. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's profile for the position.
