Duties and Responsibilities: The Humanitarian Support Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Reporting and Information Management: Coordinating inputs for donor reports, drafting and editing narrative reports, maintaining reporting calendars, and ensuring that all reports are clear and aligned with donor requirements.
Proposal Development and Resource Mobilization: Supporting the drafting of project proposals and concept notes, coordinating inputs from various units, and tracking proposal pipelines.
Operational and General Support: Assisting with cross-functional follow-up between different teams, organizing documentation for audits and reviews, and preparing presentations and strategic notes. Additionally, the analyst will engage in activities that promote volunteerism and contribute to the UNV Buddy Programme.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Humanitarian Support Analyst position should possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. They should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in drafting reports and proposals. A strong understanding of humanitarian principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are essential.
