Job Overview: The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is within the Private Sector Partnerships team at UNHCR's Athens office. The primary function of the intern will be to support various activities related to the Face-to-Face (F2F) fundraising campaign. This role provides a unique opportunity for eligible students and recent graduates to gain practical experience in the humanitarian sector while working in an international environment. Interns will learn about UNHCR's core mandate and the importance of private sector partnerships in raising funds to support refugees. The intern will be involved in communication with donors, managing donor data, and assisting with administrative tasks, all of which contribute to the overall success of the PSP initiatives in Greece.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of the Senior PSP Operations Associate and in coordination with the PSP Greece team. Key responsibilities include: supporting communication with donors acquired through the F2F campaign via phone, email, and mail; organizing and maintaining the F2F donor segment of the CRM database; managing applications received from F2F agents; coordinating with F2F suppliers and managing material stock and distribution; assisting with database refinements for digital F2F activities; conducting research on content and creatives to enhance F2F efforts; archiving F2F materials; organizing meetings and events for the PSP Greece team; and completing other administrative duties as assigned. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be recent graduates or current students in a graduate or undergraduate program at a university accredited by UNESCO, with a focus on international relations, marketing and communications, law, economics, or related fields. Applicants should have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies relevant to the organization's work. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, research capabilities, and organizational skills are essential. Additionally, candidates should possess good writing and typing skills, and must be fluent in both Greek and English, with proficiency in written, oral, and comprehension skills.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this internship includes being a recent graduate or a current student in a relevant field of study. Candidates should have completed at least two years of undergraduate education in areas such as international relations, marketing, communications, law, or economics. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the work of UNHCR and effectively contributing to the Private Sector Partnerships team.

Additional Notes: The internship is structured as a full-time role, requiring 38.5 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday. It is associated with an internship agreement for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to a total of 8 months. This is a paid internship in accordance with UNHCR policy.
