Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Supply Assistant include: supporting supply activities in compliance with supply chain rules and procedures; applying UNHCR's sourcing and procurement strategy for purchasing commodities and services; initiating customs clearance of consignments and drafting exemption requests; managing warehouse operations and planning deliveries; maintaining accurate records of supply activities and providing periodic reports; examining purchase requests for conformity; preparing quotation requests and tenders; dispatching approved Purchase Orders and following up on deliveries; providing information on procurement activities; producing asset management reports; maintaining accurate data in relevant business systems; assisting in the management of storage of goods; managing Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE) according to UNHCR regulations; and performing other related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Senior Supply Assistant position include a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma, or 1 year of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Essential skills include computer literacy, knowledge of supply chain management, customs clearance, logistics, warehouse management, asset management, and fleet management. The candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of UN procurement processes and regulations is also beneficial.

Educational Background:
