Duties and Responsibilities: The HR Intern will be responsible for conducting structured reviews of personnel files using a standardized compliance checklist. This includes auditing personnel files to identify missing documents and updating a summary tracking sheet accordingly. The intern will collaborate with the Regional HR Generalist to locate any missing documents and ensure that all personnel files are complete. Additionally, the intern will assist in reorganizing and standardizing both physical and electronic personnel files. In terms of HRIS and data support, the intern will help verify data between employee files and HRIS data, clean and validate employee data entries, and flag any discrepancies for correction. The role also involves maintaining a close working relationship with the Regional HR Generalist and occasionally interacting with the Country Office HR team.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. A high level of integrity and confidentiality is required, as well as good analytical and documentation skills. Fluency in English is mandatory, and a basic understanding of HR compliance principles and working knowledge of HRIS is considered an added advantage.
Educational Background: The educational requirement for this position is a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
