Job Overview:
The Líder de equipo de educación is responsible for implementing educational activities in alignment with NRC's programmatic strategy in the designated regional office. This role involves collaborating with education managers and coordinators to lead the support for various strategies and actions in the field. The position requires direct engagement with local entities to coordinate educational processes and ensure effective project execution. The leader will play a strategic role in organizing and supervising teams, managing project budgets, and ensuring that all activities meet established quality standards and efficiency parameters. The position demands a proactive approach to identifying and addressing emerging issues that may impact project implementation, as well as a commitment to capacity building among project staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Líder de equipo de educación will manage project personnel and implement the education project action plan, including activities, budget, and documentation. Daily monitoring of project implementation progress is essential, ensuring compliance with NRC policies, tools, manuals, and guidelines. The leader will ensure that projects are directed towards participants based on identified needs in the territories, exploring and evaluating new intervention methods. Responsibilities also include preparing periodic progress reports, contributing to staff capacity development, and collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders. Specific duties involve guaranteeing adherence to strategies and standards, supporting methodological strategy adjustments, ensuring quality control, and providing analysis" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">technical analysis of educational contexts for national coordination forums. The leader will also oversee budget execution, prepare narrative reports on project implementation status, and represent NRC in institutional coordination spaces.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a professional background in Social Sciences or Education, with specialization in project coordination or management in humanitarian contexts. A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in similar roles within humanitarian aid is required, along with documented results related to the responsibilities of the position. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of their leadership skills and have intermediate proficiency in English. Familiarity with MS Office applications and data management tools is essential, as well as proven experience in project execution, monitoring, and evaluation, particularly in education in emergencies and vulnerable populations.

Educational Background:
A degree in Social Sciences or Education is required, with a focus on areas such as Sociology, Anthropology, or Pedagogy. Additional specialization in project management or coordination within humanitarian contexts is highly valued.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least three years of proven experience in humanitarian aid contexts, particularly in education and working with vulnerable populations affected by armed conflict or displacement. Experience in complex and volatile environments is essential, along with a track record of documented results in similar roles.

Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory, with intermediate knowledge of English considered an asset. Additional language skills relevant to the local context may also be beneficial.
