Job Overview:
The primary purpose of the Educator Support position is to provide assistance in the implementation of educational projects aligned with NRC's programmatic strategy in the area. This role focuses on promoting and strengthening access to education for beneficiaries in humanitarian contexts affected by precarious social and economic conditions. The position requires collaboration with team leaders to identify effective strategies for reaching children and adolescents whose right to education has been compromised. The educator will engage in community initiatives to effectively identify the target population for the project, validate pre-registration lists, and socialize the project with beneficiaries and communities through informative meetings. Additionally, the educator will support the assessment of educational needs and develop academic processes for basic, secondary, and higher education in accordance with NRC's pedagogical plan and methodology.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Educator Support position include ensuring adherence to NRC's policies, tools, manuals, and guidelines. The educator will prepare and develop status reports required by management, ensure proper filing of documents, and promote ideas to strengthen support functions. Specific responsibilities include identifying strategies for educational outreach, conducting educational censuses, validating beneficiary lists, socializing project objectives, supporting educational needs assessments, organizing required documentation, developing academic processes, facilitating educational workshops, and disseminating key messages about the right to education. The educator will also apply monitoring and evaluation tools, participate in training related to NRC's educational program, and perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to meet the objectives of the position.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Educator Support position should possess a background in education, specifically in areas such as Language, Biology-Chemistry, Mathematics, or Social Sciences. A degree as a Normalista Superior with proven experience in education is also acceptable. Candidates should have experience working in support functions within humanitarian contexts, with a preference for those who have worked in complex and changing environments. Knowledge and experience related to educational processes for children, youth, and adults in emergency situations are essential, along with experience in implementing educational strategies that promote basic competencies with a focus on inclusivity and diversity.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes being a student or graduate in education-related fields such as Language, Biology-Chemistry, Mathematics, or Social Sciences. A Normalista Superior qualification is also acceptable, along with proven experience in the education sector.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of one year of experience in implementing educational actions, particularly in emergency contexts. Candidates should have experience in developing and implementing pedagogical strategies and should be familiar with the educational context and the political and social situation of the country.

Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory, as it is the primary language of instruction and communication. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required for this position.
