Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer position is focused on supporting the United Nations Environment Programme's Industry Innovation Branch (RMB) within the Industry and Economy Division (IED). The primary function of this role is to conduct desk research and engage in the identification, classification, and analysis of potential new technical knowledge partners who specialize in green and circular economy practices. This includes understanding the context of industry and value chains, particularly in Asia, including Central Asia. The volunteer will be tasked with mapping out organizations that can contribute to the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP), which aims to facilitate the sharing and application of best practices in green and circular economies. - Prioritization: Assess and identify priority entities for engagement based on their influence and relevance in promoting green and circular economy practices.
- Deliverables: Produce a detailed list of potential partners in Excel format, including descriptions and organized by established categories, and a short recommendation report highlighting priority entities for engagement.
