Job Overview:
The position of Auxiliar Administrativo/a is crucial for providing administrative support to various teams within the WFP's operational framework. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Auxiliar Administrativo/a will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: collecting, sorting, and distributing correspondence, reports, and other materials to meet the needs of staff within established timelines; responding to routine inquiries or forwarding them to higher authorities as appropriate to ensure timely and courteous service to clients; proofreading written documents such as reports and standard correspondence to contribute to the accuracy of information produced by staff; performing a set of routine operational support activities to contribute to the effective functioning of institutional operations; making travel arrangements and assisting in organizing events to help staff work efficiently; supporting the competitive procurement processes for goods and services, ensuring compliance with WFP procedures and proper documentation in the WINGS system; managing the office petty cash, ensuring its transparent and correct use, and recording administrative petty cash expenses in the Self-Service platform; and following up on payments to suppliers in the ITS system.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have completed secondary education and possess a technical or technological degree in administrative sciences, accounting, or related fields. A minimum of three years of experience in general administrative tasks is required. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using standard office equipment such as photocopiers and scanners, and have knowledge of standardized operational support tasks and methods. Familiarity with standard office software packages, including Microsoft Excel and Word, is essential. Candidates must exhibit tact and courtesy when exchanging information with a diverse range of individuals, possess strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies in data, and have the ability to work under deadlines while following clear instructions.
Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is the completion of secondary education. Candidates with a technical or technological degree in administrative sciences, accounting, or related fields will be preferred, as this background provides the necessary skills and knowledge for the administrative tasks required in this role.
Experience:
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in administrative roles is required. This experience should encompass a variety of administrative functions, demonstrating the candidate's ability to manage tasks effectively and contribute to the operational success of the organization. Experience in a humanitarian or international organization is an advantage but not mandatory.
Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization and with local stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly English, is considered an asset and may enhance the candidate's profile, especially in a multicultural work environment.

This position is offered as a Service Contract (SC) with a duration of six months, subject to performance and availability of funds. The remuneration level for this position is classified as SC
