Job Overview: The Senior Human Resources Associate position at WFP is crucial for coordinating and delivering a comprehensive range of HR support services. Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and provide a full range of HR management assistance and activities, including follow-up actions and resolution of issues, to ensure consistency and quality of HR services delivered to clients.
Supervise the work of other HR staff, supporting their learning and development to ensure they possess up-to-date knowledge of HR systems and procedures.
Regularly monitor and adapt existing HR procedures, collaborating with HR stakeholders to meet evolving support needs.
Analyze and respond to complex internal and external queries, ensuring clients are well-informed and HR activities align with WFP objectives.
Analyze and interpret data on recruitment, contractual conditions, performance, and training requirements, providing advice and recommendations to managers.
Support the delivery of HR services allocated by the professional officer in compliance with relevant policies.
Oversee onboarding activities for new staff, ensuring processes are followed and terms of service are understood.
Review and prepare complex HR documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
Maintain confidential personnel records and HR databases, ensuring data is stored and updated according to standards. 1
Monitor staff deployment and handle related administrative actions, preparing reports to support efficient HR service delivery.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a post-secondary certificate in a related functional area and have completed secondary school education. Additionally, they should have extensive experience in HR services, particularly within the context of WFP's operational standards. The role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to provide systems support across various HR activities, including recruitment, training, and policy implementation. Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of HR processes and the ability to adapt to changing needs within the organization.
Educational Background: The educational requirements for this position include the completion of secondary school education and a post-secondary certificate in a relevant functional area. Languages: Fluency in English (level C) is mandatory for this position.
