Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Lead Procurement Specialist position must possess a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Law, Procurement, Finance, Business, or Commerce. Additionally, a minimum of 12 years of experience in procurement, particularly within the context of the World Bank's operational procurement, is required. The candidate should demonstrate proven expertise in applying and promoting the 2016 World Bank Procurement Framework and have a strong understanding of new trends in procurement, including supply chain resilience and automation. The role demands excellent communication skills, integrity, and a sense of responsibility for delivering quality work. Strong managerial and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to mentor and guide staff effectively. Familiarity with the World Bank's Office suite is also necessary.
Educational Background:

Experience:

- Supporting client countries in achieving value for money and strengthening their procurement systems.
