Job Overview:
The Site Manager is a pivotal role within the IRC Kansas office, responsible for the oversight and supervision of direct service programs. This position is based in the Kansas City, Kansas office and encompasses various programs, including Economic Empowerment, Education, and Cash and Medical Benefit Assistance. The Site Manager will also engage in a wide range of office management and administrative responsibilities. A key aspect of this role is to represent the IRC and engage with external audiences to raise awareness and support for the organization's work and the needs of its clients. The Site Manager will work closely with the Wichita Office director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Executive Director to ensure compliance with funder and agency requirements, monitor program performance, and produce high-quality reports. This role requires strong leadership skills to support and develop direct service staff, ensuring that comprehensive, strength-based services are provided to IRC clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Site Manager's duties include ensuring compliance with all programmatic and administrative requirements, monitoring progress towards performance goals, and overseeing the implementation and evaluation of grants. The Site Manager will lead team meetings, provide individual supervision and coaching, manage staff workloads, and facilitate effective communication among team members. Additionally, the Site Manager will maintain open communication with the Executive Director and other key positions, represent the office in various capacities, and complete or oversee the completion of reports to IRC headquarters and funders. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary to support the organization's mission and objectives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree, preferably in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. They should have a minimum of five years of professional work experience with progressive levels of responsibility, including supervisory and program management experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to promote an organizational culture that reflects IRC’s core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality. Strong leadership and team-building skills are essential, along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines are also required.

Educational Background:
An undergraduate degree is required for this position, with a preference for candidates who have studied Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of the services provided to refugees and vulnerable populations.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of five years of professional work experience, with a focus on successfully implementing refugee resettlement, immigrant services, human trafficking programs, or similar programming. Candidates should have experience serving vulnerable populations and demonstrate progressive levels of responsibility, including supervisory and program management roles.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position, as excellent communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and stakeholders. Additional language skills may be beneficial, particularly those relevant to the populations served by the IRC.

The working environment for this position includes a combination of standard office settings, remote work, and field time within the service delivery area.
