Job Overview:
The position of Médecin Coordinateur CEGIDD is crucial for contributing to the compassionate care of beneficiaries under the direct authority of the Territorial Director of the Northern Islands. The role involves overseeing and developing the medical activities of the CSAPA and CEGIDD structures, ensuring the quality of care provided to vulnerable populations. The successful candidate will work closely with the healthcare team to define and implement the establishment's project, ensuring that the care provided aligns with the organization's mission and standards. The role also includes evaluating beneficiaries' dependency states and care needs, making emergency medical prescriptions, and managing the medical and paramedical staff in collaboration with the management. The Médecin Coordinateur will play a key role in quality assurance, risk management, and the optimization of resources, while also participating in health education and prevention activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Lead and develop the medical activities of the CSAPA and CEGIDD structures, ensuring high-quality care for beneficiaries. 2) Contribute to the definition and implementation of the establishment's project in collaboration with management, ensuring care quality and alerting on necessary measures. 3) Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop the general care project, integrating it into the establishment's project, and coordinate and evaluate its implementation. 4) Assess and validate beneficiaries' dependency states and care needs, and make medical prescriptions in emergency situations. 5) Manage and animate the medical and paramedical staff, providing medical expertise to the multidisciplinary team and ensuring continuity of care. 6) Record necessary elements in the management software for tracking and proper activity coding. 7) Participate in quality assurance and risk management initiatives, including protocol development and adherence to professional practice recommendations. 8) Report adverse events and promote risk management practices, leading the certification process. 9) Engage in health education, prevention, and screening activities.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a general medicine diploma, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a CEGIDD. Experience in the field of addiction is preferred. Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to quality care and patient safety.

Educational Background:
Candidates must hold a diploma in general medicine, which is mandatory for this position. This educational background is essential to ensure that the physician can provide the necessary medical care and oversight required in the CEGIDD setting.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a CEGIDD is required for this position. Candidates with experience in addiction treatment will be given preference, as this background is crucial for understanding the specific needs of the beneficiaries served by the organization.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory. Knowledge of English, Spanish, and Creole is considered a plus, as these languages can enhance communication with a diverse beneficiary population.
