Job Overview:
The position involves volunteering for SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL during the Folie des Plantes festival in Nantes. Volunteers will help run a 'Water Bar' stand, distributing potable water to festival-goers while raising awareness about the importance of access to clean water globally. This role is crucial for engaging the public in discussions about the needs of vulnerable populations and promoting solidarity. Volunteers are expected to be motivated to support the cause and relay messages to a wide audience during the festival. The festival will take place from September 6 to 7, 2025, and volunteers can choose to participate for a few hours, half a day, or several days, depending on their availability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Volunteers will be responsible for animating the 'Water Bar' stand, distributing drinking water, and engaging festival attendees in conversations about the significance of access to clean water. They will also assist in raising awareness about the challenges faced by vulnerable populations and the humanitarian efforts of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL. Volunteers are expected to work collaboratively with the team, embodying the spirit of conviviality and solidarity throughout the event. Additionally, they will participate in training sessions prior to the festival to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles.

Experience:
No prior experience is necessary for this volunteer role. However, any experience in event organization, public speaking, or community engagement would be advantageous. Volunteers should be open to learning and willing to participate actively in the festival activities.

Languages:
