Job Overview:
The Support Services Officer will play a crucial role in providing technical support to the ICLA (Information, Counseling, and Legal Assistance) program. This position involves assisting the municipal Personería in prioritized municipalities to fulfill their functions of promoting, guiding, and assisting individuals served by NRC, including victims of internal armed conflict, migrants, refugees, and stateless persons in need of international protection. The officer will be responsible for implementing project activities according to the action plan, developing knowledge of ICLA competencies, and ensuring compliance with NRC policies and procedures. The role requires initiative in problem-solving and effective communication with various stakeholders, including local authorities and civil society organizations.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should be a university student in their final semesters or a recent graduate in Law. Experience:
Candidates should have at least six months of experience working on issues related to the defense of the rights of vulnerable populations, including victims of armed conflict and migrants, in humanitarian or social contexts. Experience in social projects and fieldwork with vulnerable populations is highly valued, as is familiarity with the local context and challenges faced by these communities.
Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory, and knowledge of English is desirable. Candidates with additional language skills relevant to the local context will be given preference, as effective communication with diverse populations is crucial for this role.
Additional Notes:
This position is offered under a labor contract for a specific project, with a monthly salary ranging from $1,900,000 to $2,100,000, depending on the specific grade of the vacancy. The contract duration is determined by the project timeline, and the position may require occasional travel. - Ensuring proper filing of documents and promoting ideas to strengthen support functions.
- Assisting the municipal Personería in actions related to the promotion and guidance of individuals affected by armed conflict and migration.
- Supporting the implementation of legal tools to ensure the rights of individuals served by NRC.
- Identifying and documenting administrative barriers to accessing rights.
- Proposing tools to build capacity within municipal offices. 1
- Conducting workshops and orientation sessions for local authorities and civil society. 1
- Following up on assigned cases and coordinating actions with other entities involved in rights restoration and protection. 1
- Reporting qualitative and quantitative information on project activities and context dynamics. 1

Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of one year of work experience in humanitarian contexts.
