Job Overview:
The Analyst position at EBRD is integral to the project cycle, encompassing project origination, structuring, execution, implementation, and monitoring. The Analyst will be responsible for various tasks assigned by the operation leader or senior project team members, which include conducting thorough due diligence across financial, market, integrity, and compliance aspects. This role requires collaboration within a project team, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and in alignment with the Bank's policies and objectives. The Analyst will also engage in communication with stakeholders and assist in the preparation of documentation necessary for project execution and monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst's duties include working as a project team member on transactions, contributing to project structuring and execution through comprehensive research and analysis of market information and financial performance data. The Analyst will analyze potential risks associated with proposed projects, prepare and update financial models, and assist in designing technical cooperation assistance. Responsibilities also involve monitoring project implementation, ensuring compliance with project agreements, and preparing draft monitoring reports with recommendations for corrective actions. The Analyst will progressively take on more complex tasks as they gain experience, contributing to the overall success of the projects they are involved in.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in relevant fields. Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are desirable. Strong quantitative and numerical skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret financial information and design financial models. Candidates should have credit analysis skills, familiarity with local and international accounting principles, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet software. Effective teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure are also required.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory for this position, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications in finance or accounting are advantageous and will enhance a candidate's profile.

Experience:
Relevant experience in the financial industry is essential, particularly from investment or commercial banks, private equity firms, asset management firms, or auditing/financial consulting firms that adhere to international standards. Candidates should have exposure to industry or country-specific experience, which will be beneficial in understanding the context of the projects they will work on.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, with good written and oral communication skills required. A good command of the local language is considered an advantage, as it may facilitate better communication with local stakeholders and clients.
