Job Overview: The Multimedia Content and Campaign Producer will play a crucial role in enhancing WFP Lebanon's visibility and advocacy efforts through the development and production of high-quality multimedia content. This position involves planning, creating, and implementing multimedia storytelling campaigns that effectively communicate WFP's mission and impact. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying compelling stories from WFP operations, transforming program results into engaging visual narratives, and producing multimedia products that support digital communications, media engagement, and donor visibility. The role requires a creative individual who can work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that the multimedia content aligns with WFP's branding and messaging standards. The producer will also manage multimedia field missions and coordinate with external service providers to maintain quality standards in all outputs.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Multimedia Content Producer will be responsible for a range of duties including: developing and implementing multimedia storytelling concepts and campaigns that align with WFP Lebanon's communication objectives; producing high-quality multimedia content such as videos, photographs, and graphics for various communication platforms; collaborating with program units and partners to identify and develop compelling stories; planning and executing multimedia field missions to document WFP operations and events; ensuring effective multimedia coverage of key events and campaigns; editing and packaging multimedia content for diverse audiences; proposing innovative storytelling approaches; managing WFP Lebanon's multimedia archive; and performing other related duties as required. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in Communication Arts, Media Communications, Audio-Visual Production, or a related field. Additionally, they should have at least seven years of progressively responsible experience in visual communications, videography, photography, multimedia production, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in producing high-quality multimedia content and a proven ability to develop compelling visual stories that effectively communicate program impact and support advocacy efforts. Proficiency in multimedia production and editing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, is essential, along with strong organizational and project management skills.
Educational Background: The position requires completion of secondary school education, with a university degree in a relevant field such as Communication Arts, Media Communications, or Audio-Visual Production being essential. This educational background is crucial for understanding the principles of effective communication and multimedia production, which are vital for the role.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in visual communications, videography, and multimedia production. This experience should include a strong portfolio of high-quality multimedia content, demonstrating the ability to produce engaging visual narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. Experience in planning and executing multimedia coverage for events and high-level visits is also required, along with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Languages: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of French is considered an added advantage, as it can enhance communication with a broader audience and facilitate collaboration with international partners.
Additional Notes: The contract duration for this position is six months, with the possibility of renewal based on the availability of funds, business needs, and performance. The incumbent is expected to provide services on a when actually employed basis, resulting in approximately 15 to 17 working days per month throughout the consultancy assignment.
