Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the intern include a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the Admin/Finance Unit. Key responsibilities include:
Updating the PSP Canada SharePoint site to enhance visibility and usability for colleagues.
Maintaining and updating staff and intern lists and schedules within the PSP Office.
Researching, designing, and implementing tools or platforms to improve HR, Procurement, and budget monitoring processes on SharePoint.
Assisting in the procurement process and maintaining monthly inventory of office supplies.
Digitalizing administrative and finance documents to streamline operations.
Assisting with HR/admin tasks such as attendance records, travel arrangements, and obtaining quotes.
Conducting policy research within UNHCR to support operational needs.
Performing other related duties as required to support the team and organization.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
A university degree or a college degree in progress or completed within the last 24 months.
Experience in administrative work is considered an asset.
Familiarity with SharePoint is also an asset.
Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration.
Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tasks.
