Job Overview:
The Digital Program Analyst position is integral to the Digital Knowledge Center (DKC) within the Knowledge Bank of the World Bank Group. This role is focused on supporting the DKC's mission to enhance digital transformation in developing countries through knowledge creation, capacity building, operational support, and innovation grants. The analyst will be responsible for curating and managing digital and AI knowledge assets, engaging with the Korean tech ecosystem, and ensuring high-quality delivery of knowledge products. The position requires a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, operational analytics, and workflow coordination, ensuring that the DKC's digital and AI portfolio is effectively managed and communicated. The analyst will also support the implementation of the World Bank Group's Digital and AI Strategy, which aims to improve access, affordability, and readiness for digital solutions across client countries.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Digital Program Analyst will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
  • Knowledge curation and global delivery: Curating and synthesizing digital and AI knowledge assets, coordinating peer reviews, maintaining repositories, and executing dissemination strategies.
  • Korean tech ecosystem engagement: Mapping and maintaining a directory of Korean tech companies, facilitating knowledge exchanges, organizing workshops, and developing engagement materials.
  • Operational analytics and portfolio management: Preparing briefs and updates for management, conducting targeted research, and supporting design" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">program design and delivery.
  • Workflow management and logistics coordination: Planning and managing workflows for knowledge products and events, maintaining issue logs, and orchestrating preparation for missions and workshops.
  • Digital, data, and AI program support: Framing AI use cases, supporting data governance, and assisting with pilots for AI-enabled knowledge tools.
  • Stakeholder engagement and communications: Creating presentations and client-facing materials, maintaining stakeholder maps, and supporting change management.
  • Risk, compliance, and governance: Maintaining risk registers, ensuring compliance with policies, and coordinating submissions to governance bodies.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, information/data systems, business administration, computer science, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. They should have 3 to 6 years of experience in program coordination, operations analysis, or project delivery, particularly in knowledge management or digital/AI initiatives. Strong analytical skills, excellent writing and communication abilities in English, and professional proficiency in Korean are essential. High proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools, familiarity with ASA and trust-funded operations, and exceptional organizational skills are also required. Candidates should demonstrate sound judgment and discretion in managing multiple concurrent demands.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as public policy, economics, information/data systems, business administration, or computer science. A Master’s degree is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and understanding of the complexities involved in digital and AI initiatives.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have between 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in program coordination, operations analysis, or project delivery. This experience should ideally include exposure to knowledge management or digital/AI initiatives, demonstrating the ability to curate knowledge, manage workflows, and deliver high-quality products on time.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English, with professional proficiency required. Additionally, proficiency in Korean is strongly preferred, or candidates should be willing to develop their skills in the language to effectively engage with the Korean tech ecosystem and stakeholders.
