Job Overview:
The Institutional Affairs Analyst position within the IMF's Secretary's department (SEC) focuses on supporting the Board operations, particularly in the context of virtual and hybrid meetings of the Fund’s Executive Board and its Committees. The role is crucial for the planning and management of high-level international events, including the Annual and Spring Meetings, which require both on-site and virtual platform support. The Institutional Events Division (SECIE) is responsible for managing over 370 hours of Board engagements annually, ensuring that all events are executed smoothly and efficiently. The analyst will work under the supervision of the Chief of the Institutional Events Division, contributing to the successful delivery of various high-profile meetings and events, while also managing technology platforms that facilitate these operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Institutional Affairs Analyst include serving as a technical host and providing attendance support for hybrid, virtual, and on-site Board meetings, committee meetings, and other engagements. The analyst will assist in the delivery of the Spring and Annual Meetings, supporting high-level ministerial meetings, constituency, bilateral meetings, and other events. Responsibilities also include managing several technology platforms such as Webex, Webex Events, Board Attendance System (BAS), Board Access Management Application (BAMA), and Board Calendar Management System (BCMS). The analyst will identify areas for improvement, troubleshoot issues, and report anomalies in consultation with IT/AV staff. Additional tasks involve compiling user documentation, performing system tests, creating training materials, and providing ongoing support for the Office of Executive Directors (OED). The analyst will liaise with IT systems developers and AV specialists, suggest workarounds and enhancements for systems, maintain meeting protocols, advise Executive Directors on procedures, assist meeting participants, and compile statistics to support improvements in Board and Ministerial Meetings services. Furthermore, the analyst will publish and maintain content on IMFConnect and other related platforms, and support team leads in planning and delivering IT capital projects for the Board and Annual and Spring Meetings.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a combination of training and experience equivalent to the completion of secondary school education, supplemented by a minimum of four years of relevant work experience. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in technical hosting and supporting hybrid conferences with high-level participants, as well as experience as an administrator or host of virtual conference and collaboration tools such as Webex, Zoom, and MSTeams. Experience with coordination of IT/AV systems services is also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop and deliver user communications, translate business process requests into technical requirements, conduct user acceptance testing of IT systems, and create process documentation and procedure manuals. Strong multitasking abilities under pressure, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset are essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with high-level audiences.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a secondary school education or equivalent. Additional training or certifications related to IT systems, event management, or communications would be advantageous, as they would enhance the candidate's ability to perform the duties associated with the role effectively.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of four years of relevant work experience, particularly in roles that involve technical hosting and support for hybrid and virtual conferences. Experience in coordinating IT/AV systems services and managing high-level international events is highly desirable. Candidates should have a strong background in user support and training, as well as experience in developing user communications and conducting user acceptance testing of IT systems.

Languages:
