Job Overview:
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the overall Coordination and implementation of procurement routines, systems, and procedures. This role involves managing operational planning and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with the procurement chapter of the Logistics manual across Colombia, Ecuador, and Panama. The coordinator acts as a focal point with the central office for the implementation of the UNIT4 procurement module and provides technical guidance in daily routines and system configuration. The position also includes managing billing staff and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) tailored to the operational context.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Procurement Coordinator's primary purpose is to ensure compliance with adapted SOPs for effective operations. General responsibilities include ensuring adherence to NRC policies, tools, manuals, and donor/auditor requirements through training and Technical Support for logistics staff and NRC personnel. The coordinator must implement NRC's logistics systems and procedures for procurement in Colombia, Ecuador, and Panama, coordinate operational planning and Procurement Management among local teams, and ensure proper documentation and filing. Specific responsibilities include maintaining updated logistics databases, supervising logistics personnel, reviewing procurement procedures, providing Operational Support for logistics plans, and ensuring timely updates of procurement plans and reports. The coordinator will also support the management of key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in audits related to procurement, among other assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess experience in logistics functions within humanitarian contexts, with a proven track record in complex and changing environments. Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes is essential, along with proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP software. A valid driver's license is also required. Candidates should demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Educational Background:
A professional degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related fields is required. Postgraduate studies in Data Analytics, project management, international business, or supply chain management are desirable for this position.

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role is required. Candidates should have solid knowledge in supply chain management and procurement, as well as experience in managing transportation logistics at both national and international levels.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset.

Additional Notes:
The position is based in Bogota, Colombia, with a national fixed-term contract for 6 months. Occasional travel (approximately 20% of the time) is expected, including visits to areas with endemic diseases.
