Job Overview:
The National Director for World Vision Ghana will play a pivotal role in leading and directing the implementation of the organization's strategy in Ghana. Duties and Responsibilities:

The role involves overseeing the operations of the country office, managing a large team, and ensuring effective program and Financial Management. The National Director will also be tasked with engaging with government entities, managing donor relationships, and advocating for the needs of vulnerable children. Additionally, the position requires overseeing large government grants, ensuring compliance, and generating local revenue through Fundraising efforts. The National Director will lead multi-cultural teams and navigate complex political and cultural contexts to achieve the organization's goals.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in development studies, international development, management, Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. A minimum of 12 years of experience in country-level Program Management is required, along with at least 12-15 years of experience in managing operations of a country office or organization. Candidates should demonstrate strong people management, program management, and financial management skills, particularly in organizations with over 200 staff and an annual budget exceeding $20 million. Experience in overseeing large government grants, donor engagement, and fundraising is also essential.
Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master’s degree in relevant fields such as development studies, international development, management, administration, or social sciences. Equivalent qualifications may also be considered, provided they align with the responsibilities of the role.
Experience:
The position requires extensive experience, specifically at least 12 years in country-level program management and 12-15 years in managing effective operations within a country office.
