Job Overview:
The Multimedia Content Creator will play a crucial role in enhancing ACAPS's digital strategy by producing multimedia content for External Communications. This position aims to ensure that ACAPS is recognized as a leading voice in humanitarian data and needs analysis. The post holder will work closely with the Communications Team to create high-quality digital assets optimized for various communication channels, contributing to a fresh and creative visual communication approach. The role requires a proactive attitude towards maintaining the organization's brand and visual identity across all platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Multimedia Content Creator will be responsible for producing engaging digital assets for Social Media, newsletters, and other platforms. This includes creating graphics, short videos, infographics, and GIFs for everyday use. The post holder will provide feedback and suggestions to enhance visual concepts, ensuring effective communication throughout the creative process. Additionally, the role involves developing templates for team members and maintaining a well-structured internal digital asset Library. The candidate will also keep abreast of emerging trends and formats to effectively communicate ACAPS products visually and assist in maintaining web content and visual appearance. Collaboration with the Media Officer and Graphic Designer is essential for success in this role.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a relevant university degree or higher education, preferably in Digital Media, visual communications, Video Production, advertising, or a related field. Strong experience in producing audio-visual content for social media and Marketing platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and MailChimp is required. Experience in the humanitarian sector, international organizations, Design firms, or in-house creative departments is desirable. Proficiency in Adobe programs (Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator, After Effects) is essential, while knowledge of CMS TYPO 3 is a plus. Fluency in English is mandatory.

Educational Background:
A relevant university degree or higher education in fields such as digital media, visual communications, video production, advertising, or related disciplines is required for this position. This educational background is crucial for understanding the principles of multimedia content creation and effective communication strategies.

Experience:
The position requires proven strong experience in producing audio-visual content specifically tailored for social media and marketing platforms. Candidates should have a background that includes working in the humanitarian sector or with international organizations, design firms, or creative departments, which will provide valuable insights into the unique challenges and requirements of this field.

Languages:
Fluency in English is required for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization and with external stakeholders. While not mandatory, proficiency in additional languages could be beneficial, particularly in enhancing communication with diverse audiences in the humanitarian sector.

Additional Notes:
The position is a 6-month contract with a 50% workload, with the possibility of extension. It is a national contract, meaning candidates must have the right to live and work in the duty station country. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible, and there is no travel required for this role.
