Job Overview:
The Market Analysis Advisor position is crucial for leading transformative changes in humanitarian aid, particularly in enhancing the capacity of humanitarian workers in market analysis skills. The Advisor will be responsible for adapting and delivering virtual Training Programs that focus on cash preparedness and the localization of procurement processes. Duties and Responsibilities:
The specific responsibilities of the Market Analysis Advisor include:
  • Developing and delivering training programs that adapt market analysis methodologies for virtual platforms, including the creation of a Training of Trainers (TOT) program and a comprehensive capacity-building plan.
  • Organizing virtual debriefs and writing detailed reports that document findings, recommendations, and lessons learned for advocacy purposes.
  • Collaborating with project coordinators to monitor, evaluate, and modify training programs based on participant feedback and outcomes.
  • Providing ongoing support and mentorship to participants, particularly those who have graduated from the TOT program, to ensure the application of learned skills in real-world scenarios.
  • Engaging with stakeholders at various organizational levels to balance their priorities and ensure the successful implementation of training initiatives.
  • Maintaining a high degree of service-mindedness and strong communication skills to effectively represent NRC and its mission.
