Job Overview:
The Internship Position within the Human Resources Section of the ICC offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in human resources management within an international legal context. Interns will be involved in various HR functions, particularly focusing on performance management and staff engagement. The role requires a proactive approach to learning about HR processes and contributing to the implementation of strategies that enhance employee performance and satisfaction. Interns will support the HR team in managing performance-related inquiries, monitoring compliance with performance management processes, and assisting in the preparation and communication of staff engagement surveys. Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the HR Operations Unit and the HR Organisational Development Unit. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the performance management inbox and providing Technical Support to supervisors and staff members regarding performance management processes.
  • Monitoring compliance rates across the Court to ensure adherence to the performance management process.
  • Assisting in the management of the Developmental 360 Program, including tool management and participant follow-up.
  • Supporting the preparations for the annual Staff Engagement Survey, including Data Collection and Analysis.
  • Communicating survey results to the Court and assisting in the implementation of staff engagement action plans.
  • Collaborating with team members on various HR projects and initiatives, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Human Resources Section.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree or be in the final stages of a relevant study at a recognized university. A strong academic record is essential, and candidates with degrees in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, or related fields are particularly encouraged to apply. Other academic qualifications may also be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in human resources and Talent Management processes, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to the Court's practices.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to have completed or be nearing completion of a relevant degree from a recognized university. This educational background should ideally be in fields related to human resources, law, business administration, or other relevant disciplines. A strong academic performance is expected, as it reflects the candidate's commitment and capability to succeed in a professional environment.

Experience:
While practical experience is not a prerequisite for this internship, any relevant experience in human resources, project management, or related fields will be considered an asset.
